In a time of video clips and sound bites, our focus is only for a few seconds. Before we can even think to act on what we have learned, we are inundated with a hundred more clips. Our souls are jerked around in a paralyzing inability to act. We are manipulated to do nothing about everything. God does not call us to do everything. He gives us a mission and an assignment. May He move our hearts to action. Focus on His call. Act!
During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them. Acts 16:9-10 (NIV)
