There is no place for pride in God’s field. We are laborers together with each other and God. You may not have planted the seed, but you can water it. You may plant the seed and pray for someone else to water it. It is very unlikely that you will be the sole influence on anyone coming to Christ. Other workers have come before you, and others will come after you. Humbly sow, patiently water and prayerfully pray for God to give the increase.
“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that plants any thing, neither he that waters; but God that gives the increase.” 1 Cor 3:6-7
