Our Warrior King has set Himself against the evil powers of darkness. He cast out demonic powers by the “finger of God”, demonstrating the arrival of His kingdom (Lu 11:20). He has come to defeat our old enemies of sin and death. He will not stop until He has put all enemies under His feet (I Cor 15:25). The cross and resurrection declare Messiah is Victor. As citizens of His kingdom we are armed to take back territory from the evil one and hand it over to our King.
“And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne.” Revelation 12:5 (NASB)
