We may want to always be conscious of God’s power at work in us.  Some may expect a kind of emotional high flowing out of a feel good relationship with God.  We put too high of a premium on feeling good.  More often than not God’s power is not felt or noticed at the moment He is using us.  We see in hindsight what God has done in our stumbling weakness.  Our greatest success may be when we have felt like a failure.

“For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, yet we will live with Him because of the power of God directed toward you.”  2 Corinthians 13:4 (NASB)
