Time is bent toward repentance.  Every day is a second chance to get it right, to move from wrong to right, to move from good to better, to move from better to best.  It is an opportunity to love more fully, give more generously, to pray more effectively.  Each new day is the patience of God, His desire for our changing, to move closer to His likeness.  “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9 NASB). He offers His grace and His Spirit daily to get us there. Time is an opportunity for fresh repentance.

Father, may I be more sensitive to those around me; more patient to those near me, kinder to those who have been beaten up by their brutal circumstances.  May I be as gentle with them as You have been with me, Oh, Father, may I live this repentance every moment.  May I view each day as an opportunity to get it right. Amen!
