The greatest thing that has ever happened to this planet is the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus.  Schools of learning were born, hospitals were created, the value of humans redefined, helping institutions of all kinds came into being because of Him.  Jesus has radically changed our world; He gave it a conscience on issues where it had no conscience before.  It is ironic, and amusing, when you see people who reject Him as personal Lord, yet, putting forth so many of His ideas as solutions to our divided and unloving world.  His story has been distorted, neglected, maligned, mocked and cast aside; still the greatest story that was ever told goes on shaping, somewhat like subversive yeast placed in dough.  He who was born in Bethlehem, the house of bread, will not stop until the Yeast has done His work; Jesus is both the Yeast and Bread of the Kingdom.

He also asked, “What else is the Kingdom of God like?  It is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.” Luke 13:20-21 (NLT)
