John the Baptist said of Jesus’ baptism, “I saw the Spirit descending” (John 1:32).  This vision of the unseeable was made seeable by a dove.  ”No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him” John 1:18 (NASB).  The incarnation made the unseeable Father seeable (John 14:9).  Messiah is the “the image of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15).   Moses by faith “persevered as seeing Him who is invisible” (Hebrews 11:27).  The thing that makes us endure, triumph, and overcome is to see things in the spiritual realm that transcend natural sight.
