“I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the LORD’” (Ps 122:1).  Have you discovered the gladness of worship?  Have you found the joy of assembly with the people of God?  Group worship is needed every bit as much as  private worship for your spiritual formation.  In it you find renewal, clear direction, encouragement, hope and a sense of belonging.  Spasmodic worship hurts community.  Be systematically present for the assembly of believers.  It is a constant means of grace in your life.  It is food for the soul.  You need it.  Your brothers and sisters need you.

“Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25 (NASB)
