Macedonia was not where Paul had intended to go. He was led there by the Holy Spirit. We have our plans, and sometimes God intervenes to bring us His plan. God would send others east, but Paul was to go the other way for now. All believers are sent to serve. Your help is needed. Let the Holy Spirit lead you as to time and place. Wherever you are, work there. Your sent place is where you are, until God shows you otherwise.
“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us” (Acts 16:9, KJV).
