“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being” (John 1:1–3 NASB). This bears more than a striking resemblance to Wisdom being with God in creation (Proverbs 8:22–30).  I have inserted the noun “Wisdom” by the pronoun so that the power of it can come through. Ponder it  “The Lord possessed me (Wisdom) at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old. From everlasting I (Wisdom) was established, From the beginning, from the earliest times of the earth.  When there were no depths I (Wisdom) was brought forth, When there were no springs abounding with water.  Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills I (Wisdom) was brought forth; While He had not yet made the earth and the fields, Nor the first dust of the world. When He established the heavens, I (Wisdom) was there…When He marked out the foundations of the earth; Then I (Wisdom) was beside Him, as a master workman; And I (Wisdom) was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him” (Proverbs 8:22–30 NASB).  “Christ Jesus, became to us wisdom from God…”, (1 Corinthians 1:30).  He was the Word of God and the Wisdom of God made flesh. He was with God and He was God.  As Word, He is what God has to say to us.  He is the full and final Word of God, He is our Scripture; He is the only lens through which we should read and interpret the Bible.  He is the Wisdom of God; He is the Mind of God.  Ponder it!  Let it grip you!
