Inner peace can be illusive to us.  We are seeking to find our peace in the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).  He does not thrive on war and conflict.  He is not about pairing us against them.  There are chosen attitudes that do not “make for peace”.  There are inner places we can go that insure the inner disruption of peace.   There are entertainments that are enemies of a peaceful soul.  Can we have a peaceful center on turbulent seas?  Can we have an unshaken center when all around us is shaking loose?  If we let Him truly rule, we will have the peace of His peaceable kingdom.

“Let the peace of Messiah rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.” (Colossians 3:15)
