Christ is in our midst to guide our asking and our praying.  He is in the middle of what we ask of His and our Father.  He stirs our imagination.  He offers us vision.  To pray “in His name” is to pray with His prior permission and authority (John 14:13; 15:16; 16;23).  He loves to help us form our petitions to the Father.  His Spirit is doing that when He prays through us.  Ask Jesus what you should be asking for and then see what happens.

“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.  For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” Matthew 18:19-20 (NASB)
