God does not do selfies.  He is concealed in the sunrise and hides behind the sunset.  He is in the blooming of a flower and the singing of a bird.  He is in the majesty of the storm and the calm gentle shower.  The rivers, the waterfalls, the jagged cliffs and the placid lakes testify of Him.  He is in a baby’s smile.  He comes to us in the poor and needy.  Because He does not do selfies, some say that He is not there.   The image of a single snapshot would so limit the great I AM.  I have seen Him who is unseen.  I have felt His Presence, when it could only have been Him.

“He was in the world, and the world came into being through him; yet the world did not know him.” John 1:10 (NRSV)
