An atheist says that there is no God. A practical atheist acts as if there is no God. But can it be that there is another kind of atheist who has constructed a god that does not exist because he will not accept the One who is revealed? Can it be that there are atheists who are really not atheists, but they have merely rejected the God that some well-meaning person has misrepresented Him to be? We believe that God reveals Himself. Without this we could not know Him. Christians believe that God has made Himself known in Jesus of Nazareth. People need to know Jesus. Jesus is all about getting to know our Father God.
Jesus said, “If you have seen me, you have seen the Father” (John 14:9).
