“My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself”  (John 7:16-17).  When we obey, when we put into practice the teachings of Jesus we discover a deeper knowledge of Jesus.  Hearing His teaching is not enough; when you live the message, when you put into practice what He said to do, you will see and know Him for who He really is, The Messiah of God.  We want to know by listening, by being connoisseurs of great preaching and teaching; we run to and fro to hear the best.  This produces hearers who do not do.  It produces disciples who really do not know Him.  In the plan of God, doing is the seed of knowing.
