God does not cause all things but he does cause all things to work together for the good of those who love Him. The chaos that happens to us may just be life, but the Divine Logos can bring order out of our chaos. God is not bringing all the bad stuff into your life, but he wants to enter the control room of your life, not as controller but as coach to guide you through the bad stuff. He is the God who hung on the cross and He knows how to make us triumph. He can teach us Lamb ways. The lion in us needs to lie down by the Lamb of God and allow Him to coach us on how to deal with life.
Father, we rejoice in the way you take what we thought was so bad and make it into something so good. Thank you for this kind of transforming grace. Amen!
