Has the Lord been with you? Have you seen His hand at work in your life, bringing good out of bad? Have you survived when it looked like you might not? Can you even know the unnoticed perils He brought you through? Have you partaken of food from His table? Has He not supplied even beyond your needs with something to spare? You are alive! He has given you help on the journey! Don’t you think it is time to raise an Ebenezer stone?
Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far has the LORD helped us.” 1 Samuel 7:12 (NIV)
