Attitude is more important than rank or position. It is more important than religious arguments. Being right with the wrong attitude is being wrong. Humility was the attitude of Jesus. He modeled it well. It brought Him from heaven down to earth. It brought Him from riches to poverty. It brought Him to a wash basin and disciples’ dirty feet. It brought Him to the cross in submission to His enemies. Disciples seek to live out the humility of the lowly Nazarene.
“Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 2:5 (NASB)
