We have seen many sad things happen in individual lives that they did not deserve. The problem arises when we think we have no value because of what has come our way. We can feel beat up and beat down by such an occurrence. We are not worth-less because of what has happened to us. An undeserved event does not determine our worth. There is a teaching that says we deserve whatever we get because we are vile sinners and worthless worms. The Father of Grace disagrees. He cherishes His children. He showers unconditional love on them. He takes them in His arms as their Shepherd.
