Through Christ sinners are becoming grace-shaped masterpieces.  You did nothing to deserve this.  Yet the Master Artist Himself is shaping you with His hands of grace into something beautiful and useful.  He is making you brand new, something very different from your misshaped past.  One sign that He is working on you is that you are beginning to do good works in His name.  You are working works of righteousness and compassion to those in your life.  You are giving unearned grace just like you received it.  Your new actions are becoming more and more second nature to you.  It is now who you are.

“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you cannot take credit for this; it is a gift from God.  Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.  For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:8-10 (NLT)
