God knew us at our worst moment and still loved us. “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8 (NASB). He knows us better than we know ourselves and still reaches out to us with unconditional self-sacrificial love. Somehow, we think God sits totally absorbed with our past transgressions and all of our worst moments. He does not. He is more concerned with what we are becoming than with what we have been.
