Look for goodness in others. Look for the hidden Christ in their lives. Look past what they are to what they can become. The Father wants to salvage all of His own from the devil’s trash heap, and they are all His own. “It is not my will that any should perish.” His prevenient grace is a work in all, so look for it and work with it. Grace in the heart of the hearer is the ally of the one who gives their witness of the Lord. Work with the Spirit. He is already at work.
“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 (NASB)
