The Bible declares and Christianity teaches the relationship Christ has to God. Christ is the eternal Son. He is the Word who was with God from the beginning. He is the Word who is God (John 1:1-2). He is the “Word who was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” John 1:14 (KJV). The Word who was with God and was God chose to be one with humanity. This is the real story of Christmas!
