I am one in whom Christ dwells; I am thus a temple.  His indwelling gives me life now, because this Spirit living in me is the very Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead.  Oh yes, I know that I will die someday.  Loved ones will bury my body, but it will not be the end.  Death cannot triumph over me; a stone over my tomb can’t keep me in.  I am one in whom Christ dwells.  That is my identity.  That is my present joy.  That is the sum of my hope.

“And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God.  The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.” (Romans 8:10-11 NLT)
