Worship is admiration in the presence of the Holy.  It is awe that leaves us speechless.  It is joy that makes us shout.  It is truth on fire in our souls.  It is knowledge morphed into mystery.  It is our mind blown away by God’s greatness.  It is adoring our Father above all else.  It is what we most value.  It is obeying the commandments of our Lord.  It is love that drives us to share with others. (If worship does not drive evangelism we are just proselytizing.)  It is deep reverence for the Almighty.  It is devotion serving.  It is prayer praising.  It is humility paying homage.  It is honor magnifying its Master.  It is bowing before the throne of the Most High.  Worship is giving God glory in thanksgiving.

Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, Let the earth hear His voice!

Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, Let the people rejoice!

Oh come to the Father, through Jesus, the Son,

And give Him the glory—great things He hath done.  Fanny J. Crosby
