We do not wage war as the world wages war. We do not use words against others as the world uses words against others. Life will test us in this. Families will. Neighbors will. Enemies will. Tribalism will. Politics will. When a Christian demonizes another, it does not properly announce that they are demons, but it does reveal what is in their own spirit. To talk of vengeance, retaliation, and ranting death wishes is so contrary to the Spirit of Christ. May we examine our hearts to know what spirit is really at work in us.
