“The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak”, said Jesus to His sleepy headed apprentices in Gethsemane (Matt 26:31). Good intentions were caught in a tired body.  I have heard many Christians confess, “I am so weak,” as if it were a problem.  If we were forever strong we would depend on ourselves.  The nature of the Christian’s life is that we have to be re-energized everyday.  We need God’s power for every situation.  Be strong in His might today!

And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NASB)
