When the linen of our final resting is unfolded, when the battle is over, when the last good bye has been said, when the last bit of dirt is packed around our casket, know this for sure: We will meet again! Not because we say so, but because Jesus says we will rise (John 11:25-26). Someone has said, “Christians never say ‘Good bye’ for the last time.” God’s eternal family is going to gather for a great wedding feast. All the faithful who have gone before us and all the faithful who come behind us will be present.
“And I tell you this, that many Gentiles will come from all over the world—from east and west—and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 8:11 (NLT2)
