We followed our own way into the darkness and Jesus found us there and brought us back to the light. We are eternally indebted to the Shepherd who rescued us at such great expense to Himself, though our wandering away was intentional. His love so wants to change our wayward heart and steps. He wants to transform His sheep to hear His voice and follow Him naturally. Oh Spirit, enable us each moment to walk in the steps of our Shepherd.
“I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep” John 10:14-15 (NASB).
