One of the first things our parents said to us was, “Watch where you are going.” We learned the hard way when we did not. We are to “Make straight paths for our feet” (Heb 12:13). We are to be attentive to where we put our feet lest we stumble, or cause another to do so. We are to avoid the evil path and walk the good path. God cares how we walk. People see how we walk. It matters greatly to keep your feet on the holy path!
“Let your eyes look directly ahead And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet, and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; Turn your foot from evil” Proverbs 4:25-27 (NASB).
