Selfish people die a thousand deaths in whining self-pity and always come out the victim. They will tell you about it; you don’t even have to ask them. Cross bearers enter Christ’s death, embrace their own cross, give up self by free choice and come out the victor. If you ask them they will tell you that their loss was their greatest gain. Christ on the cross was Victor, and we are victors by entering into His victory.
