Grace is energy coming from the Father born to us by the very Spirit of God. It’s riches are found “in Christ Jesus.” It comes along side of us. It gets in us. It picks us up. Without it we cannot live right and holy. Depending on it we cannot fail. It is power for the powerless and strength for the weak (II Cor 12:19). It is not focused merely on how good God is to me. Grace draws us to be centered on our Father in worship and gratitude.
“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus, that in everything you were enriched in Him, in all speech and all knowledge” 1 Corinthians 1:3-5 (NASB)
