It is possible to say all the right things and be something very different from that. This happens when we can claim to be believers without being followers, when we profess Christ as Lord and are very much in charge of our own lives, when we claim Christianity without any serious attempts at discipleship, or when we give lip service without honoring from the heart. Such hypocrisy creeps in on us when we no longer allow the Spirit to examine our hearts and motives.
