Living in harmony with ourselves is a wholeness to which we must aspire. Our heart, words and actions should exist from a common wholesome whole, a seamless piece of cloth, like the seamless robe of our Lord, not torn and divided, but one whole piece, a unity of heart and action, living in a way that our heart and lips give the same undivided worship.
Father, our lips say that You are our first priority but our actions sometimes show the contrary. We confess and say Jesus is our Lord, but we often make major decisions without consulting You. We are too self-directed. Father, Your Word instructs us to walk in Your way. May the praise of our lips truly express the praise of our hearts.
