There was absolutely no rain in the forecast for days, and yet it rained anyway, a shower of blessing. Some have no forecast of the rain coming on the unjust, certainly not at this time, but God is God. He loves to surprise us with unexpected blessings. Where does it come from? From a generous heart that just loves to rain down grace and mercy. Are you having a dry spell? Does your life need water? Do you long for the skies to open and come to your aid? I am not a forecaster! But I do know One with a generous heart that just loves to rain down grace and mercy.
“Your Father who is in heaven…causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Matthew 5:45 NASB).
