Spiritual truth undiscovered and unexpressed is an un-rung bell. So is gratitude for unnoticed folks and manifold gifts. Neglected praise to our God for the blessings we missed. Then there are testimonies not given, joys not expressed, prayers that were not prayed, songs that did not get sung, books that did not get written, smiles that were not given, and burdens that were not lifted. All of these and more represent un-rung bells. They say you can not unring a bell; that is true. But there are bells that need to be rung that never get rung. Be a bell ringer.
“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble.” (Psalm 107:1–2 ESV).
