The teacher was reading a story to a young child.  As soon as the child would hear the opened page read, she would say, “Turn the page, teacher. Turn the page.”  As we grow older, it may not always be easy to turn the page, but we must.  The sad chapters of yesterday must not be allowed to spoil today’s reading.  When you start to get stuck over some old regret, tell yourself, “Turn the page.  Turn the page.”

“Whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed.” Romans 3:25 (NASB)
