“The truth can set you free,” if you face the truth. There is no freedom in denying it. If the truth is not pleasant, then face the truth. The cultural myths that we unconsciously live by will not set us free. The lies that we tell ourselves that become “our truth” or “our reality” will take us to deeper bondage. Outside the Kingdom are those who love and practice lies (Revelation 22:15). Inside the Kingdom are those who love and practice truth. There is no freedom until we become fully honest with truth and line up with it.
