It is easier to make our belief systems about God more central in our life than God Himself. Mind you, beliefs are important; beliefs must go hand and hand with trust. Our lives are held steady by trusting God in all things. At the center of our lives there is to be a Person, full of kindness, gentleness and love in whom our trust can be unreservedly and unendingly placed. He is trustworthy, completely so. In trust there is relationship, fulfillment and the stability we need.
“How blessed is the man who has made the LORD his trust, And has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood.” Psalm 40:4 (NASB)
