Our faith is not nearly as radical as was that of the early Christians. Our worldview has not been as totally altered as was theirs. The gospel of the Kingdom has made few changes in our lifestyle. We have tamed the message to make it more palatable. Is this Government of God, the Kingdom of Heaven, more valuable than all other systems? Have we sold everything to buy the Pearl of Great Price? When we own it, and it owns us, it will change how we see everything.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls, and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.” Matthew 13:45-46 (NASB)
