The God who is Trinity has always functioned as community, even before man was created and the worlds came into being. God is Love! The Father, Son and Spirit have lived in an eternal community of unbroken mutual love. There is within the Holy Trinity an absolute preference for the Other*. This is the way we are to live in our relationships with each other. We are to love and esteem our neighbor as our self.
