“Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love” John 15:9 (NASB). Before the foundation of the universe, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit lived in a community of unbroken love. The quality of love that is in the Trinity is the quality of love that Jesus extends to us. In the same way the Father loves Jesus, Jesus loves us. We are invited to abide in (i.e. make our home in) this Trinitarian community of love! Amazing invitation!
