Everything is not always rosy in our lives, and we should not lead others and even our own children to think otherwise.  Problems are as common to others as they are to us.  We may do a disservice to those who come behind us if they are never allowed to glance at our pain.  This sharing can be in the form of personal conversation, prayer requests, testimony, or our Christian witness as to how our Lord has helped us.  This calls for wisdom in what, how and when we share.  Transparency can help another person who is also struggling at some point.  Knowing that you don’t have a problem-free existence can help a fellow human deal with their problems.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 (NASB)
