Discipleship is not the achievement of what I have come to know; it is walking in and with the Christ who is shaping me. We want to measure our growth by the amount of spiritual wisdom we grasp. Jesus wants disciples who love Him enough to act on His words and be to this day what He was to His day. He will move us into action to make a difference in lives, communities and institutions. These are the ones He declares wise.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock” Matt 7:24 (NASB).
