“He went to their meeting places all through Galilee, preaching and throwing out the demons” (Mark 1:39 The Message). We can’t throw out demons when we give their agenda a place at the table. We can’t throw them out by entertaining their lies in our head. We can’t throw them out “when the god of this world” has blinded our eyes to God’s kingdom rule. We can only throw them out when we want to be rid of them, when we want to be done with their idols, suggestions and lies. Then we can declare, “Begone Satan, you who accuse God’s children day and night. Get behind me! Begone! Get out!”
