The disciples shouted out their loud praise to Jesus on Palm Sunday. The Pharisees protested this messianic proclamation. Jesus responded, ”If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” Figurative? I don’t think so. In the OT stone monuments were erected as a testimony. No, more than that. Even stones are made of moving particles, sustained by their Creator Jesus. All the rays and particles of the universe know Jesus, because everything is generated and sustained by Him. Isn’t it time to start lifting your praise to God’s promised Messiah?
“Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” Luke 19:38-40 (NIV)
