The Holy Spirit is called the “Spirit of Grace” and delivers to humankind the “blood of the covenant by which we are sanctified.” The Spirit of Grace comes from the Father, through the Son, to transform our lives. The Holy Spirit convinces us of God’s goodwill toward us and His desire for union with us. We see in this hospitality of God hope that things don’t have to continue as they are. Our future now becomes bright.
“How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?” Hebrews 10:29 (NASB)
