9 days until Pentecost: Without regard to class or gender the Holy Spirit comes down. Women received the Spirit and prophesied (i.e. spoke forth God’s anointed word.) Both male and female slaves received the Spirit. The age of the Spirit has arrived. Without regard to gender, class, rank, or race the Spirit is given. The Spirit comes to all humans who desire Him and are open to Him. The ground is level at the foot of the cross and in the upper room.
“I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. And even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” Joel 2:28-29
