The presence of the Spirit of Jesus has the power to draw people to the Father. The presence of the Spirit in our lives is winsome. When He is at work in us, He is drawing people to Christ, even when we are not conscious of it. Our witness should always give room for Him to work. Some of our evangelistic methods show little confidence in the real inner workings of the Spirit. The Spirit is always at work, validating the truth of Jesus. We tell our story, we seek to persuade, but it is the Spirit who convinces.
“When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me, and you will testify also, because you have been with Me from the beginning.” John 15:26-27 (NASB)
