It is the Spirit that brooded over the waters of the first creation and gave us our beautiful earth. It is by the Spirit that we are made new creations in Christ Jesus. It was by the Spirit that Jesus was raised from the dead as the first fruits of new creation. He is the affective cause of our resurrection. “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” (Romans 8:11 NASB). It was the creative life of the Spirit that birthed the church on the day of Pentecost. It is the same Spirit that dwells in us and makes us the temple of God. It is the Spirit in us that first shaped humankind into the divine likeness who is still at work in us to reproduce the image of God, which is Christlikeness. Submit to this Holy Wind!
